Committee Meeting @ Conwy Cricket Club

Present; A.Lavery, T.Davies, B.Steen, E.Shillcock, E.Downes, G.Meredith, A.Wilson, A.Baker.
Apologies; O.Kelly, K.McIntyre.
Minutes Of Previous Meeting (27/05/04); Approved.
Matters Arising; 1. Both A.L and A.W had seen Andy Greenland and it appears that Andy has sorted out his problems. A.W agreed that Andy would be given his last chance to play this season on Saturday 19th June.
2. Only six teams turned up for the Midweek Sixes Competition which was very disappointing. The league will probably pay entry fees for two teams not turning up on the day. Approximately £130-00 profit was made on the day (£60-00 Bar + £70-00 Bar). A.L reminded everybody that social evening on Friday 9th July was (Horse Racing Night).
Treasurers Report; Copy of report on notice board. Copies to all Committee Members.
Captains Reports; 1st Team; E.S was disappointed at last week’s defeat, however he said it may be a good thing, as complacency was setting in the team. He also was struggling to get a team together for the Welsh Cup game on Sunday 20th June.
2nd Team; A.W reported the team still struggling. He also had written a letter to the League Management Committee regarding the Llay match on 12th June (Copy of letter attached).
No other Captains or Reports available.
Correspondence; T.D had written to the Conwy Civic Centre, regarding CCTV cameras etc. A meeting has been arranged for week of 28th June 2004.
Cricket Matters; E.S said he was very disappointed at the turn out for Net Sessions, no more than four players turning up and he was not prepared to continue coaching on these turn outs.
Any Other Business;
1. B.S said she would sponsor both cricket balls for the Mike Steen Trophy, both matches being played against Mochdre C.C.
2. An extra meeting will be arranged to discuss the new draft lease proposals etc, in the next couple of weeks.
