COMMITTEE MEETING 26TH FEBRUARY 2004
MINUTES
Present; A.Lavery, T.Davies, B.Steen, O.Kelly, E.Shillcock, A.Wilson, G.Meredith, E.Downes, S.Wypler.

Minutes Of Previous Meeting (29.01.04); Approved. Proposed by A.W. Seconded by O.K.
Matters Arising;
1. A.L reported that P.Williams had agreed to be Child Welfare Officer for Conwy CC. The Committee was in favour and thanked Paul for filling this position.
2. E.D had a couple of quotes for fixed cages etc. for the net area, no decision was made but it was noted that permission would be required to erect these cages.
Treasurer’s Report; Treasurer not available.
Correspondence;
1. Level 1 coaching course at Kinmel Bay will be attended by K.M and R.Greenland. Cost at £110.00 per person. A grant of £380.00 has been received, therefore the cost will be met by the club. The remaining £160.00 will go to pay for Ladies indoor net sessions.
2. O.K will attend a First Aid Course, the cost being £25.00 will be paid for by the club.
3. The Welsh Cup match at Pwllheli has been arranged for Sunday May 9th.
4. The Under 13’s Welsh Cup Team has been drawn away to Prestatyn, the date provisionally arranged for Sunday May 9th.
5. One League rule change for 2004. Any team not fulfilling a fixture will not receive any points, but the opposing team will receive the average number of points gained by winning teams in their league on that day, and not ten points as previous.
6. It was also noted that H.Kelly had produced the best bowling performance in League Division 4 for 2003 taking 7 Wickets for 29 Runs in 4.2 Overs against Llanrwst.
Telephone; It was reported that A.B had said his mother would loan the club a payphone for one year to see if it was viable for the club. A.L said that BT would reinstall the landline free of charge and the old number would remain the same (572031).
Cricket Matters;
1. The Committee was reminded that the Indoor nets commence on Sunday 7th March (5.00pm till 7.00pm) at Llandudno Junction Leisure Centre.
2. E.S. had received a letter from Craig Jenkins, offering the club to the Cotswold’s from Sunday September 12th to Thursday September 16th. Accommodation B.B. £30.00 per night. It was agreed in principle , and O.K and E.S. would organise tour. Craig will book Hotel and arrange the games when he receives number of members going.
Centenary Dinner / Dance; A.L reported that the event has now been booked for Friday 2nd April 2004 at the Deganwy Castle Hotel. A newsletter has been sent out to all club members.
Any Other Business;
1. E.D reported that he had a couple of quotes for an outside pavilion clock, one being £450.00 for an 18 Inch face. No decision was made and A.W said he would look on the Internet for quotes and would also contact J.Lambe (Llandudno CC) to see where they got theirs from etc.
2. It was also reported that no new lease had yet been drawn up by CC Council.
3. G.M said he would be looking for help mid March for rolling the square etc. A date to be arranged.
4. O.K reported that Hugh would mend the heavy roller during the next couple of weeks. Help would be appreciated.
5. It was agreed that membership forms should be completed for 2004 by all members and membership cards would be issued when subs are paid.
